GENERAL SUMMARY
The Manager, Enterprise Project Management is responsible for leading and advancing CHKD's Enterprise Project Management function, ensuring the successful planning, execution, governance, and delivery of strategic initiatives across the organization. Working closely with executive leaders, operational teams, and project sponsors, this role establishes project management standards, facilitates cross-functional collaboration, monitors organizational project portfolios, and drives accountability for achieving strategic outcomes. The Manager serves as a trusted advisor to leaders across the health system, helping teams navigate complex initiatives, manage risks, allocate resources effectively, and achieve project objectives that support CHKD's mission, strategic plan, and organizational priorities. Reports to department leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads and coordinates the execution, governance, and tracking of enterprise-wide strategic and operational initiatives that support CHKD's mission, strategic priorities, and organizational goals.
Partners with executive sponsors, physicians, and operational leaders to drive alignment, establish priorities, remove barriers, and achieve desired outcomes.
Facilitates governance structures, leadership committees, and decision-making processes to ensure organizational accountability and progress on key initiatives.
Monitors and communicate the status, impact, risks, dependencies, and outcomes of enterprise initiatives, providing meaningful updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
Supports implementation of approved strategic opportunities and transformational initiatives through project governance and execution oversight.
Builds strong relationships across departments and stakeholder groups to foster collaboration, engagement, and shared ownership of organizational priorities.
Leads cross-functional planning efforts, workshops, and working sessions that drive action, solve complex challenges, and advance strategic objectives.
Provides guidance and support to leaders and teams responsible for implementing enterprise initiatives, helping ensure successful adoption and sustained results.
Develops executive presentations, reports, dashboards, and other communications that inform decision-making and demonstrate organizational progress.

Oversees the recruitment, hiring, team/department orientation, performance appraisals and disciplinary actions including up to termination processes for a team or department.
