Full Job Description
As a Tax Manager in our Domestic Tax team, you'll work with a wide variety of clients and build your experience in new industries. Working with some of Canada's top gurus in Tax, a career in tax at Doane Grant Thornton is an opportunity to create your unique career journey .

Joining our robust team of over 400 tax professionals means you'll collaborate with colleagues across service lines such as Advisory and Specialty Tax, which will broaden your perspective and help you solve client problems, delivering personalized solutions.

As a Tax Manager, you'll help our clients with corporate tax planning so they can benefit from tax savings and incentives. Here's some of what you'll get to do:
• Coaching and mentoring a team of tax colleagues on compliance, helping them walk in clients' shoes by discussing tax planning options
• Establish deep trusting relationships with clients as you advise them on complex tax matters
• Review corporate tax provisions and compliance engagements, and analyze, review and complete corporate and personal income tax returns
• Proactively resolve tax related issues with clients and other team members
• Act as a leader in the management of our growing tax practice, identifying and developing new opportunities for additional tax services

To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $83,600-$114,950 in Kingston, ON. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
