What you'll do

The Manager, eCommerce Digital Merchandising, has an integral role in impacting objectives for our Mark's website, acting as a key liaison with Merchandising and Branding teams.

The Manager, eCommerce Digital Merchandising is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and optimization of digital merchandising across our eCommerce websites to deliver engaging, conversion-focused, and customer-centric shopping experiences. Working closely with the Digital Merchandising Operations, Merchandising/Business Lines, UX, Marketing, Procurement, vendors, and Analytics teams, the Manager ensures that product stories, seasonal campaigns, and curated content are delivered seamlessly to the customer while meeting commercial goals and business objectives. You will lead the day-to-day operations of the Digital (eCommerce) Merchandising team for the Mark's website to deliver a best-in-class customer experience. The Digital Merchandising team is responsible for driving eCommerce and brick-and-mortar sales by working collaboratively across the organization to execute a strong digital strategy that prioritizes the customer and drives results for the business.
  • Lead and manage a Digital Merchandising team to ensure websites reflect the key products and events to maximize key Digital metrics per business needs
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners
  • Be action oriented, outcome focused, and think critically with the ability to analyze and visualize, to ensure continuous improvement across our entire business
  • Strategically influence to drive optimal outcomes for your business lines, building key relationships and partnerships easily across various stakeholder groups to move initiatives forward
  • Lead inclusively and compassionately, building and developing your team, effectively anticipate and respond to disruption, while consistently delivering strong performance
  • Provide regular data analysis and insights to drive the business forward
  • Provide digital and eCommerce expertise to partners and stakeholders
  • Understand UX principles that create best-in-class experiences
  • Act as a liaison between multiple teams from coast to coast
  • Think critically to optimize and improve processes for smaller banners


What you bring:
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent in Business, eCommerce, Marketing, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in eCommerce or Digital
  • Strong working knowledge of digital and customer experience methodologies
  • Dedication to delivering customer-focused initiatives, always acting in the best interest of the customer
  • Motivated, self-starter with the ability to function in a fast-paced environment with a high level of ambiguity and change
  • Experience working on cross-functionally driven initiatives, strong ability to build partnerships across teams with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with eCommerce platforms
  • Proficiency in eCommerce and web standards, SEO, and accessibility
  • Proficient understanding of web design, UX trends, web development and/or content management
  • Ability to build and present strong narratives to senior executives
  • Experience with eCommerce analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Adobe Analytics, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools
  • Ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners.
