Job Summary

The Communications Manager, Digital Marketing and Platforms, for Hemostasis and Acute Care diagnostics, plays a critical role in shaping Werfen's global digital presence by designing and delivering data-driven engagement strategies that elevate visibility, strengthen customer connection, and drive measurable business impact. This role is at the center of Werfen's digital transformation-connecting strategy, platforms, content, and data to deliver a seamless, scalable, and compelling global customer experience.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

Digital Strategy and Campaign Leadership
  • Define and lead a future-forward global digital strategy
  • Translate business priorities into impactful, multi-channel digital programs
  • Ensure all digital initiatives deliver measurable visibility, engagement, and growth

Platform and Ecosystem Ownership
  • Drive the evolution of core digital platforms (website, HubSpot, HighSpot, Salesforce)
  • Champion user experience, scalability, and global consistency
  • Enable adoption and effective use of platforms across regions

Data and Performance Optimization
  • Use analytics to understand audience behavior and optimize engagement
  • Establish a culture of test-and-learn and continuous improvement
  • Track and improve performance across all digital channels

Global Alignment and Governance
  • Partner across marketing, affiliates, communications, and business teams
  • Ensure one consistent voice, message, and standard globally
  • Lead governance for digital content, platforms, and compliance

Operational Excellence and Partnerships
  • Manage agencies and digital partners as extensions of the team
  • Optimize budgets, resources, and investments
  • Deliver high-quality execution at scale

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience for the position:
  • Bachelor's or master's Degree in Digital Marketing or related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in digital communications or strategy leadership
  • Deep expertise in digital platforms (Drupal, HubSpot, HighSpot, Salesforce or similar)
  • Healthcare or medical diagnostics experience preferred
  • Management has the discretion of substituting relevant work experience for a degree and/or making exceptions to the years of experience requirement.

  • Proven leadership of complex, global, cross-functional initiatives

Travel requirements:
Approximately 10%.

The annual base salary range for this role is currently $110,000.00 to $140,000.00. Individual employee compensation will ultimately depend on factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and particular business needs.

This role is eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k plan retirement benefits with an employer match, as well as paid vacation and sick leave. Our sales roles are eligible for participation in a commission plan and our management, and select professional roles, are eligible for a performance-based bonus.
