Job DescriptionAs Manager - Digital Experience you will be responsible for leading a team of analysts to gain actionable insights into improving product findability and creating a world-class search experience. You will act as a key liaison between technology and business operations to create processes that analyze, monitor, and report on customer experience. You will work closely with business and technology leaders to ensure we fulfill the organization's vision for digital products and solutions. You will deliver outputs that meet customer needs and expectations. You will be responsible for the team that analyzes digital activity data and utilizes findings to enable cross-functional improvements. May lead a team that is located across the globe.
Responsibilities:- Develops and maintains user experience design processes, resources and governance. For example, style sheets, wireframe tools, contracted user experience resources, etc.
- Oversee Search Analysts and portfolio of work to ensure customers/users are at the center of our digital search products and solutions.
- Responsible for the delivery of wireframes and visual designs for digital products and solutions.
- Keeps abreast of external digital landscape, industry trends and digital developments in other market segments, and produces annual competitive studies and targeted competitive analysis.
- Leads visioning and leads execution of overall digital experience through deep understanding of eCommerce.
- Leads cross-functional discussions to distill requirements for improving online merchandising and assortment management to improve product findability.
- Oversee delivery and effectiveness of processes that analyze search experience; works with business stakeholders and product managers, to evolve artifacts.
- Engage in user experience (UX) studies and research efforts such as user testing, surveys, focus groups, and A/B testing and acts as a customer advocate and recommends new platform features through understanding of customers and their responsibilities.
- Provides thought leadership and recommendations regarding digital product organizations, including staffing, skillsets, emerging disciplines and competitive hiring landscape.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in User Experience, Design, eCommerce, eBusiness, information technology or related preferred
- 10 years experience in Business analyst, user experience, project management or similar role in digital and eCommerce field
- 6 years B2B or B2C eCommerce experience preferred
- 3 years experience managing a staff in digital or user experience roles
- 3 years of Human Resources and career pathing processes such as evaluating performance, setting goals and objectives, coaching and mentoring and tactical activities related to managing a team
- 2+ years of experience with Hybris or Adobe eCommerce platform a plus
- Endeca or LucidWorks search and browse platform preferred
- Experience with digital channels, including web, mobile, apps and social; experience with scanning and mobility solutions preferred
- Experience localization and multi-language, multi-currency eCommerce platforms preferred
- Supervising local contracting resources and managing consulting engagements
- Agile methodologies
- Presenting recommendations to peers, management and eCommerce leadership
This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
