Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor DevOps/cloud engineers; manage performance and development plans.
Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and accountability.
Oversee CI/CD standardization for Java, .NET, and Node.js workloads.
Drive Internal Developer Portal adoption and golden path enablement.
Guide Terraform and infrastructure as code standards and guardrails.
Embed DevSecOps best practices into pipelines and cloud platforms.
Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for new tools and automation improvements.
People
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
Provide career guidance, performance feedback, and coaching to team members.
Promote inclusion, trust, and engagement across distributed teams.
Client
Partner with internal engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure DevOps platforms.
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by translating business needs into technical solutions.
Ensure responsive, high-quality service and proactive communication with stakeholders.
Align platform capabilities with client needs to maximize business impact.

Drive automation, operational efficiency, and cloud cost optimization across Azure and AWS.
Deliver self-service platform capabilities to accelerate developer productivity.
Establish and enforce best practices in CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability.
Continuously improve service reliability, scalability, and performance while minimizing risk.
Education and Experience
Eight or more years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
Two or more years of people leadership experience.
Strong experience with CI/CD tools, including Harness, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
Hands-on AWS and/or Azure expertise from architecture to operations.
Extensive Terraform and infrastructure as code experience.
Advanced knowledge of public cloud architecture and operations across Azure and AWS.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Node.js, Python, and Unix shell.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, and service mesh technologies.
Strong collaboration, transparency, and stakeholder management skills.
Certificates and Licenses
AWS and/or Azure certifications; professional-level certification preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervise a team of DevOps and cloud platform engineers.
Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance.
Allocate resources effectively across projects and operations.
Establish clear goals and accountability for the team.

For certain California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $161,000.00 - $220,440.00
For other California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $147,000.00 - $181,885.00
For Colorado based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $141,000.00 - $192,940.00
For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $147,000.00 - $181,885.00
For other Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $141,000.00 - $192,940.00
For Maryland based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $141,000.00 - $192,940.00
For Massachusetts based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $147,000.00 - $181,885.00
