DescriptionThe Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions CIDO team is seeking an experienced
Manager Computer Systems Analysis 1 to support information system lifecycle activities. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our
East Hartford, Connecticut location.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Lead and mentor Classified Solutions staff of cyber professionals and system admins, desktop techs, and network engineers performing direct administration of Information Systems and associated classified networks.
- Oversee strict program control processes that mitigate risk and support system Assessment and Authorization (A&A). This includes process support, analysis, coordination, security certification testing, security documentation, investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research, inspections, and periodic audits.
- Oversee the implementation of required government policy (i.e., DAAG, JSIG, ICDs) to ensure compliance.
- Work across disciplines to isolate issues between software, firmware, and hardware, between software and operating systems, between networks and applications, and between one-time events and recurrent systematic problems.
- Keep multi-user classified servers and networks running reliably (install, patch, upgrade, monitor, configure).
- Recommend and implement system enhancements, to include automation, that will improve the performance of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management.
- Lead creation and upkeep of standard operating procedures, and configuration guides.
- Align support activities with business goals, managing performance metrics and adapting resources as needs change.
- Produce clear written reports and deliver oral briefings for all internal stakeholders and external partners, keeping everyone informed of status, risks, and outcomes.
- Interact, meet, discuss, and troubleshoot issues with vendors; evaluate vendor products, services, and suggestions.
- Analyze and make recommendations to internal or external customer requirements and determine equipment and software requirements for solutions to problems.
- Support customer programs and perform functional management duties based on business needs and performance.

Basic Qualifications:
- Master's degree with 3 years of IT experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of IT experience; OR an Associate's degree with 7 years of IT experience is required
- Experience with managing a team, or prior leadership experience, is required
- Candidates must meet the U.S. Government 8140 requirements (8570 equivalent) for a Systems Administrator - IAT level II certification at a minimum (examples: Security+ CE, CND, CCNA Security, SSCP, GICSP, GSEC, CCISO)
- Experience with Windows domains, including but not limited to Active Directory, GPOs, Policies, and permissions
- Experience with documentation and configuration management as they pertain to governance & compliance and security controls
- Candidates must have a current U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI security clearance (at a minimum), in order to be considered
- Candidate must be ability to obtain, and maintain, a Polygraph as a condition of continued employment in this position
Preferred Qualifications:- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, Security+ CE, and 6 years of Server Administration and Information Security experience to include 1 year of managerial or supervisor experience over a small team of IT professionals in a classified environment
- Prior military experience
- CISSP certification
- Experience and familiarity with IT infrastructure (i.e., virtualization, networking, datacenter architecture or systems administration)
- Experience with RMF or other cybersecurity related compliance frameworks.
- Current recent Polygraph preferred

Primary Level Salary Range: $121,000.00 - $181,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
