The Manager, Community Relations & Investment (CRI) provides support for Nutrien's community investment strategy and charitable investment programs. This role shapes and advances a high-impact community investment portfolio, bringing strategy to life through partnerships, proactive grants, sponsorships and community activations. Working across Nutrien's operating segments and alongside community partners, the Manager builds trusted relationships, strengthens governance and investment practices, and helps ensure our resources create measurable outcomes in the places where we live and work.

What You'll Do:

The Manager, Community Relations & Investment (CRI) provides support for Nutrien's community investment strategy and charitable investment programs. This role shapes and advances a high-impact community investment portfolio, bringing strategy to life through partnerships, proactive grants, sponsorships and community activations. Working across Nutrien's operating segments and alongside community partners, the Manager builds trusted relationships, strengthens governance and investment practices, and helps ensure our resources create measurable outcomes in the places where we live and work.

Key Accountabilities:
• Shape and lead community investment portfolios for assigned operating segments, providing strategic direction, trusted counsel, training and governance support from assessment through application, administration and approval.
• Own national community investment partnerships and flagship engagements, building strong external relationships, representing Nutrien at key events and delivering on activations.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members, instilling a culture of innovation, collaboration and performance excellence.
• Shift the portfolio from reactive funding to proactive-outcomes focused investments, identifying opportunities that align community needs with Nutrien's priorities and potential for impact.
• Help shape and champion CRI strategy, focus areas, investment priorities, tools and systems, translating direction into clear, consistent action across the business.
• Steward budgets with discipline and strengthen reporting that demonstrates portfolio reach, outcomes and value.
• Contribute to the development and communication of CRI stories.

What You'll Bring:
• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, communications, corporate social responsibility, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in community investment, agriculture, business, communications, corporate social responsibility, or a related field
• Agriculture background preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional deliverables and build relationships internally and externally
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to synthesize information into clear recommendations
• Advanced proficiency in Cybergrants, Benevity, Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
