Overview

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

Plan, implement and coordinate the clinical services offered by the facility.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Provide oversight and support to all clinical operations in areas assigned.
• Provide oversight and monitor clinical services as it relates to service provision, treatment and access.
• Review and analyze clinical and operational performance results. Develop plans for improvement as needed.
• Provide staff management to including hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.
• Develop and implement behavioral health processes, procedures and policies across programs.
• Participate in daily, weekly, monthly and annual planning and reporting processes as appropriate.
• Represent the company at meetings in the community.
• Collaborate with other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative work environment.
• Support compliance by adherence to accreditation standards as well as standards of funding agencies and licensing boards.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Psychiatric Nursing required.
• Five or more years' experience in behavioral health services with clinical experience with all target populations (SMI, SED, DD, SUD) required.
• Three or more years' supervision experience required.
• Management or administration experience and/or three years work experience in Utilization Management required.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
• Meet DWMHA credentialing requirements for professional practice Masters Level licensed behavioral health professional as QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional) CMHP (Child Mental Health Professional), and QMRP.
• Must possess a full license in one of the following disciplines: LLP/LP, LPC, LMSW, NP/RN.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility.
