Job Summary: Plans, develops and directs all phases of operations for multi-specialty, multi-site medical clinics through coordination and synthetization of business and clinical activities to achieve exemplary patient care, great satisfaction and sound financial viability in compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Minimum Education: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, Health Care Management, Business or Health Care preferred.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None.

Work Experience: 8 - 10 years related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proven experience in Human Resource management, financial analysis and forecasting, problem solving, flexible team participation and project management. Must exhibit effective oral and written communication and coordination skills with other departments and within Warren Clinic and the Health System. Demonstrates responsibility in crisis situations and critical thinking in problem resolution. Accomplished user of software management programs and proficient learner of new computer technology.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Serves as liaison between physicians, staff and administration to accomplish desired goals. Participates in corporate planning process and in special task forces and subcommittees. Forecasts, communicates, monitors and evaluates financial performance and operational achievements of multiple clinic sites through discussions and written documentation with physicians and administration. Determines capital needs through collaboration with physicians and staff. Assures quality of patient services and patient satisfaction by effective recruitment, training, mentoring and retention of engaged staff. Develops policies, procedures and protocols for business and clinical processes in conjunction with physicians' needs. Directs operations to ensure the quality and consistency of clinical services and the efficient, productive utilization of manpower. Negotiates understanding and position of Warren clinic in the Health System by participation and leadership in System wide issues and initiatives. Researches, pilots and evaluates new technologies, products, supplies and services to cost effectively enhance clinic operations and improve clinical outcomes. Ensures efficient office processes to maximize collection of patient accounts. Monitors and evaluates accounts receivable and billing data for each physician and coordinates with Patient Account Services to identify and resolve billing and collection problems. Develops and communicates data analysis reports to clarify information for physicians and staff and to influence desirable behavior. Plans, implements and monitors development of new physician practices and practice sites by preparing proforma and overseeing construction, relocation, credentialing, contracting, marketing, orientation and financial reviews

Decision Making: Independent judgment in making decisions from many diversified alternatives that are subject to general review in final stages only.

Working Relationships: Direct Supervision of others. Prepares and gives performance evaluations. Works directly with patients and/or customers. Works with internal customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with external customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff. Works frequently with individuals at Director level or above.
