Job Title
Manager, Client Implementations

About your role:

You will lead a team that delivers transfer and deconversion implementation services within the Card Issuing organization. You will partner with clients, project managers, product owners, and technology teams to execute portfolio movement activities on the Optis processing platform. Your work will support delivery execution, risk management, operational consistency, and client outcomes across the implementation lifecycle.

What you'll do:
  • Lead a team of technical analysts and programmers supporting transfer and deconversion implementation activities within the Optis processing environment.
  • Manage and develop team members through coaching, performance feedback, goal setting, workforce planning, and ongoing development activities.
  • Assign work, establish priorities, monitor deliverables, and ensure execution aligns with established timelines and service expectations.
  • Partner with project managers, clients, product owners, and technology teams to plan and execute implementation activities from initiation through closure.
  • Oversee portfolio transfer and deconversion efforts, including requirements review, data migration, file delivery, testing, conversion support, and production readiness.
  • Monitor implementation progress, provide status updates, and ensure adherence to established processes, controls, and delivery standards.
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, drive resolution activities, and escalate concerns as needed to support delivery outcomes.
  • Serve as a client-facing leader and drive continuous improvement across implementation tools, controls, and delivery practices to improve efficiency, quality, and client experience.


Experience you'll need to have:
  • 6+ years of experience leading complex implementation, conversion, technical operations, or project delivery work within a technology, payments, or financial services environment.
  • 2+ years of experience managing and developing teams, or 4+ years of experience serving as a technical lead, project lead, or team lead.
  • 6+ years of experience managing deliverables across the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, issue management, and project closure.
  • 6+ years of experience evaluating technical requirements, supporting solution delivery, and resolving implementation issues using structured analysis.
  • Experience communicating project status, risks, issues, and business impacts to clients, team members, and leadership.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, to support reporting, analysis, and delivery tracking.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education, work history and military experience.


Experience that would be great to have:
  • Experience supporting Fiserv Optis or other card processing platforms.
  • Experience in credit card issuing, payment processing, or financial services.
  • Experience supporting portfolio transfers, conversions, deconversions, or large-scale client migrations.
  • Experience improving implementation processes, operational controls, or service delivery models in a regulated environment.


How you'll work:
  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help support onboarding, teamwork, and overall productivity.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
  • This role may require support during non-standard hours based on implementation schedules and client activities.


Travel: This role requires occasional travel (up to 10%).

Salary Range
$90,000.00 - $151,200.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
