Northrop Grumman has an opening fora Manager Business Management of the Production portfolio to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This leadership position willbe located on-site in Melbourne, FL.

Critical success factors for candidates will include a dynamic leadership presence, highly collaborative work style, the ability to anticipate problems, proactively deal with difficult situations and communicate appropriately with all levels of stakeholders. The candidate selected for this role must have strong organizational, problem-solving and closure skills, strong written and oral communications skills, anddemonstrated interpersonal skills with different stakeholders and levels of professionals and management. Training in any of Northrop Grumman27s common process management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities include development, monitoring and maintenance of Business Management processes, tools and procedures to manage contract business execution, earned value, capture of new business; oversight of Pre-RFP activities to contractdefeminization; oversight of cash collection; participate in generating and execution accountability of profitability and financial EACs; accountable for the Estimate-at-Complete (EAC), contract profitability assessments/reviews, participation in long range strategic planning process; and support to the Program/Business Area Rhythm (Program Management Meetings, Risk Review, EAC Reviews). Coordinate activities between Contracts, Cost/Schedule, Finance, and Pricing functional groups.Proven ability to collaborate in a productive, strategic, and positive manner across multiple teams and various functions

Basic Qualifications

  • Must either have a bachelor27s degree and 7 years business experienceormaster27s degreeand 5 years business experience or a PhD and 3 years of business experience

  • Must have minimum4years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Program Financial Planning & Control, Cost Management, US Government Contracts, or Government Cost Accounting Standards

  • Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM) Principles

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active US Government clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)

  • Master27s in business administration degree

  • Experience in presenting financial data to senior leadership

  • Demonstrated success in developing and leading functional and cross functional teams

Primary Level Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $172,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate27s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
