- Performance range: Up to $109,532. Progression beyond the recruitment range is available through annual performance increases, in accordance with the PEA Collective Agreement.
Job Summary
Mandate:Reporting to the Registrar, the Manager, Budget & Business Analysis provides strategic leadership on all resourcing matters inclusive of budget development and management, capital asset planning & management, long-term business planning, financial analysis and financial reporting in accordance with institutional and departmental priorities. The Manager provides support and advice to all Associate Registrars and their unit leaders with related strategic planning, operational support, training and resourcing approvals.
Objectives:- Provide strategic financial leadership and stewardship across the OREM portfolio, aligning advice and support with institutional policy, priorities and plans.
- Responsibly manage budgetary resource proposals to ensure support for critical initiatives and operational needs, including workforce management, across OREM.
- Provide financial and administrative expertise, advice and support to OREM leaders to contribute to enhancing the student experience.
Job Requirements
This position requires a level of education, training, and experience equivalent to an undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting/Finance stream) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial management, business planning and change management. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered. An accounting designation is required.
