SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for the success and daily operation of the outpatient facility at the Cancer Institute including managing, promoting, evaluating and directing the daily operations of the bone marrow transplant and nursing care coordination for CI patients. Provides overall hiring, training, supervising and management responsibility for the CI nursing support staff. Evaluates and improves clinical performance by creating and maintaining a work environment that fosters quality care, patient satisfaction, interdisciplinary collaboration, team building and service excellence.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or a Master's degree in Nursing required.
  • Four (4) years of related experience required.
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
