Summary:

The Manager of Benefits ("Manager") is a key member of the Cook Children's Human Resources Benefits Team with shared accountability for success of the function. In this role, you will be charged with administering the organization's health, welfare and retirement plans with a focus on customer service and compliance. These plans include, but are not limited to:
  • medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy
  • life and disability
  • FMLA
  • qualified and non-qualified retirement plans
  • flexible spending accounts
  • adoption assistance
  • tuition assistance
  • other benefits (pre-paid legal, pet insurance, et cetera)


As the manager, you would also be a subject matter expert who oversees the day-to-day work of Benefits Analysts while regularly interacting with employees at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR role
  • Demonstrated proficiency navigating HRIS and benefits administration software as evident by prior work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, from an accredited institution of higher learning. (Note: In lieu of the degree, 9+ years of progressive employee benefits experience in similar-sized organizations is acceptable.)
