Full Job Description
  • Salesforce experience required.

Provide leadership to application delivery teams and support teams including design, development and maintenance, content management, project and resource management and personnel recruitment, retention, and management. Develop system support policies, procedures, and standards in compliance with industry best practices and optimize operational activities to drive efficiency and achieve continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop staff to achieve department objectives including determining staffing needs, setting goals, interviewing, selecting, coaching, and evaluating the performance of all direct reports
  • Work with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Project Managers to plan and execute projects
  • Ensure teams have appropriate product and technical direction as well as resources to deliver product functionality effectively, on schedule and within budget constraints
  • Lead the deployment of software, upgrades, enhancements, and fixes that are coordinated based on release schedules
  • Evolve new and existing software systems applications and architecture within designated applications
  • Coordinate and approve release and sprint planning, daily scrum meetings
  • Work with developers to resolve both technical and non-technical challenges and escalated problems or issues associated with projects
  • Take a leadership role in OD Technology leadership and planning initiatives
  • Evaluate project requests to determine feasibility and appropriate department resourcing for on-schedule completion
  • Responsible for managing the department staff including hiring, wage changes, and disciplinary action
  • Vendor relationship management as it relates to Salesforce.
  • Establish and maintain Salesforce delivery standards, governance processes, and release management practices.


Job Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience and education


Experience:
  • 12+ years of experience working through design, development, release cycle and delivering software
  • 7+ years of experience directly managing development teams and projects
  • Salesforce experience required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and/or priorities successfully to completion
  • Solid foundation and understanding of Agile Development methodology
  • Experience in programming and software development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage people and their career growth
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills
