Job Summary

The Account Management Analytics team drives data-informed decision-making through financial insights, opportunity identification, performance measurement, and strategic recommendations that create value across Compass Group sectors.

As Manager, Account Management Analytics, you will help build and scale a growing analytics function by identifying growth opportunities, developing actionable insights, and implementing scalable reporting and processes.

This role is ideal for a highly analytical and strategic thinker who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building new capabilities from the ground up, and is motivated by creating structure, driving continuous improvement, and influencing business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Analytics & Business Insights
  • Identify, quantify, and prioritize financial opportunities that drive growth and value creation across Compass Group sectors.
  • Analyze complex business data and translate findings into actionable insights, recommendations, and executive-ready communications.
  • Develop and maintain scalable reporting, dashboards, and performance measurement tools that enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of analytics while proactively identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that impact business performance.


Process Development & Continuous Improvement
  • Design and implement scalable processes, methodologies, and tools for opportunity tracking, reporting, and performance measurement.
  • Drive automation, process optimization, and reporting enhancements that improve efficiency, consistency, and business impact.
  • Develop best practices and frameworks that support organizational growth and continuous improvement.

Strategic Partnership
  • Partner with Account Management leadership to support strategic priorities, evaluate opportunities, and measure business outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Category Development, Distribution, and other stakeholders to identify and advance high-value initiatives.
  • Lead high-impact analytical projects and special initiatives that deliver measurable business and financial results.


Leadership & Capability Building
  • Coach and develop analysts, helping strengthen analytical capabilities and business acumen across the team.
  • Champion the adoption of data, reporting, and technology solutions that enhance team effectiveness and decision-making.
  • Lead multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously, balancing competing priorities while delivering measurable business and financial results.


Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, finance, consulting, strategy, or a related discipline.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and large-scale data analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Power BI, Hyperion, Tableau, SQL, or other business intelligence and data visualization tools.
  • Ability to develop dashboards, reporting frameworks, and analytical tools.
  • Experience leading projects, mentoring team members, and driving process improvements.
  • Knowledge of procurement, foodservice, supply chain, contract management, or related industries.
