Summary

You will serve as a MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST in the Corporate Operations Department N9 Business Development Division (N91) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.

Duties

Help

  • You will develop, track; and analyze key performance indicators at both the strategic arid operational/execution level that can be used to evaluate overall performance and influence decision-making.
  • You will assist in the coordination of command efforts regarding strategic and corporate planning.
  • You will conduct research and analysis studies related to organization-wide activities for presentation to MSC Leadership for information and decision-making purposes.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Experience in applying a wide range of assessment and improvement methods and tools supporting MSC's mission and transformation efforts.
  • Experience in applying techniques used to evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of programs and organizational processes.
  • Experience in compiling and organizing information; developing and coordinating staffing papers and briefs and presents findings/recommendations to key management officials for decision.
  • Experience in reviewing study objectives, determine requirements, plan, schedule, and conduct study projects.
  • Experience in presenting and defending recommendations and conclusions, resolve conflict, and negotiate agreements.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
