This position is part of the Administrative Services Division within the Department of Land Use and Transportation. The Management Analyst II provides critical support for departmental operations through strong administrative stewardship, compliance oversight, and continuous process improvement. This role is responsible for coordinating the public records function, including statutory compliance, policy interpretation, and records management; maintaining and verifying departmental asset inventories; and leading efforts to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency across LUT.
The Management Analyst II works collaboratively across teams to ensure timely, accurate responses to internal and external inquiries. The role partners with leadership to implement best practices, evaluate existing procedures, and strengthen departmental knowledge, consistency, and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in public or business administration, statistics, accounting, or a related field that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities; AND two (2) years of progressively responsible professional experience in administrative, operations, or similar analyses. OR
- Associate Degree in public or business administration, statistics, accounting, or a related field that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities; AND four (4) years of progressively responsible professional experience in administrative, operations, or similar analyses. OR
- High School Diploma/GED; AND six (6) years of progressively responsible work experience in administrative, operations, budgetary, and similar analyses, of which at least two (2) years of this experience is in the public sector for a medium or large governmental unit.
About the Department/Division:
The Department of Land Use &Transportation (LUT) is organized into five divisions: Administrative Services; Capital Project Services; Engineering, Traffic and Survey; Operations and Maintenance; and Planning and Development Services. The Administrative Services Division is responsible for a range of key operational and support functions such as fiscal management, personnel management, and Information Systems.
