Job Description

Mission Technologies' Cyber & Intelligence team is seeking multiple Malware Analysts at the Junior & Journeyman levels to support an upcoming, high-impact mission at Fort Meade.

This role is part of a pending contract proposal. We are actively interviewing to identify qualified candidates in anticipation of a successful award.

Data Scientist 2 - $105,357 - $126,965
Data Scientist 3 - $125,987 - $148,000

Essential Job Responsibilities
• Assist with basic malware analysis tasks, including observing behavior in controlled environments to support ongoing cyberspace operations.
• Prepare clear, structured summaries of malware findings, track analysis tasks in workflow tools, and share observations with team members during technical discussions.
• Contribute to routine documentation and support activities for malware analysis systems, including providing input for security-related materials under team guidance.

Minimum Qualifications

Data Scientist 1: 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
Data Scientist 2 - 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
Data Scientist 3 - 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.

Must possess an active TS/SCI/Polygraph for consideration

Preferred Requirements

Demonstrated understanding of security architectures, protocols, and tools, along with the ability to develop and assess solutions across Defensive Cyberspace Operations, Computer Network Exploitation, and Offensive Cyberspace Operations.
