Job DescriptionMaintenance Systems Leader identifies and leads systems to optimize equipment uptime, plan maintenance, reduce breakdowns. MSL provides guidance, direction, and motivation to team, enabling and encouraging ownership of equipment results. MSL supports and engages in Duracell work systems autonomous and progressive maintenance activities to eliminate process failures, minor stops, and breakdowns.
ResponsibilitiesMaintenance System Lead must promote and operate in a highly cooperative interdepartmental manner. The essential responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Creates an integrated culture to maintenance based on teamwork and collaboration between Maintenance Managers and Line Technicians.
- Direct work assignments and set priorities for a 24/7 operation to support business objectives.
- Places importance on deterioration prevention to build a strong foundation for autonomous and progressive maintenance systems.
- Ensures planned maintenance systems establishes and maintains optimal equipment and process conditions.
- Ability to effectively provide hands on technical coaching and direction to Technicians.
- Ability to create, implement and train technical standards.
- Understands, follows, and enforces all policies, procedures, and practices.
- Review safety, production, quality and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify activities.
- Responsible for updating maintenance scorecards for Breakdown Elimination (BDE), Planning and Scheduling (P&S), and Maintenance and Repair (M&R) cost tracking.
- Completing and coaching BDE and P&S health checks.
- Participation in weekly DDS meeting providing input of P&S and BDE into PDCA.
- Support training of new and existing technicians based on technical skill needs.
- Assist with weekend work and on call duties after hours and weekends.
QualificationsYou may fit well into this role if you:
- Have a working knowledge of SAP, CPMS, MaintainX or another ERP system
- Have a confident command of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Have written and verbal communication skills as well as an acute attention to detail
- Display leadership and a willingness to train/help others

- 5+ years of specialized maintenance sourcing /planning experience; preferred
- Previous maintenance leadership experience; preferred
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accountability to sound maintenance practices and standards.
