DescriptionWe are currently seeking skilled and motivated
Maintenance Supervisors to lead our maintenance team at our sawmill/planer facility.
Working on either a Monday to Friday, Graveyard or a Compressed Weekend Shift (F/S/S), you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the sawmill/planer machinery and equipment. Your responsibilities will include coordinating maintenance requests, creating and managing work orders in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), and assigning tasks to maintenance technicians. Additionally, you will oversee parts inventory, track maintenance progress, and provide regular performance reports to management.

Duties - Ensure safe and efficient operation of the sawmill/planer machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate maintenance requests.
- Create and manage work orders in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

- Track maintenance progress.
- Provide regular performance reports to management.
QualificationsRequirements: - Red Seal Millwright Certification with a minimum of five years' experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Planner, or Coordinator.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in safety management and team development.
- Strong understanding of maintenance systems, workflows, and sawmill/planer operations.
- Solid knowledge of equipment maintenance, optimization processes, and performance management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of sawmill and planer processes, including equipment operation and maintenance.
- Experience with performance management and continuous improvement processes.
- Strong business acumen and decision-making skills.
