Job OverviewThe Maintenance Supervisor plays a key role in executing assigned Maintenance tasks. This includes overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facility, production equipment, and support systems necessary for efficient production operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Necessary supervision to the maintenance team as required.

- Provide valuable input for the development of unit strategy.
- Notifies others of mechanical malfunctions to increase productivity and equipment capabilities and begins to identify areas where operators can assist in resolving concerns.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and take the necessary action.
- Responsible for complying with GMP's, SOP's, corporate and/or plant policies, rules, and regulations.
- Execute assigned tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager or designated supervisor.
- Utilize advanced troubleshooting skills to address and resolve support system issues effectively.
- Provide mechanical support and assistance across all production areas as instructed by the Maintenance Manager.
- Conduct regular maintenance and repair of plant support systems, including ammonia, boilers, electrical, glycol, central air/heat, and wastewater treatment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records in the provided logbooks to ensure system history and facilitate continuous improvement.
- Perform Scheduled maintenance and repair of designated production equipment in accordance with the maintenance managers directives.
- Aids and supports all areas in the production facility as assigned by supervisor/lead and begins to train and build competence on key areas in production such as fillers, forklifts, and production lines.
- Responsible for gaining competence online circuits and learning proper hookups are made in the facility.
Min. Qualifications- A minimum of GED or High School Diploma is required. An AAS in industrial/manufacturing engineering is preferred.
- Technical training or an electrical/mechanical technician degree, or equivalent experience in the field.
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in the mechanical field/trades or within a plant/manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with boilers, ammonia refrigeration, air compressors, air handling units, HVAC, and packaging equipment. Understanding of Dairy Process Systems is preferred.
