Job Description:

  • Supervises and ensures compliance with policies and procedures involving the daily operations.
  • Ensures new construction and renovations comply with all regulatory agency codes and standards.
  • Reviews code changes and initiates policy programs to maintain compliance.
  • Distributes work assignments and supervises daily activities of personnel.
  • Coordinates with supervisors in other departments to schedule repairs and maintenance.
  • Expedites assignments as directed and supervises personnel with repairs as necessary.
  • Reads architectural blueprints and schematics of building and mechanical systems, equipment, and wiring diagrams.
  • Maintains and updates a complete set of drawings.
  • Reviews work requests and related documentation generated by shop personnel for accuracy and completeness.
  • Initiates preventive maintenance procedures for new equipment and determines frequency of inspection.
  • Orders supplies and repair parts and maintains inventory of supplies.
  • Coordinates with vendors as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Must have the ability to direct subordinates, teaching, planning, organizing, staffing, reporting, budgeting and coordinating. [Required]
