JOB SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all maintenance operations within a steel tube manufacturing facility to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment. This role oversees preventive maintenance programs, equipment reliability, spare parts inventory, and maintenance personnel while supporting production goals and minimizing downtime. The Maintenance Manager works closely with production, engineering, and plant leadership to maintain equipment performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

EDUCATION/EXOPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience in steel manufacturing, tube mills, rolling mills, or heavy industrial equipment strongly preferred.
  • Experience with CMMS systems and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead and supervise the plant maintenance team including mechanical and electrical technicians.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate all maintenance activities to support production operations.
  • Develop and manage the plant's preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and reliability of tube mill equipment, finishing lines, and plant utilities.
  • Manage the maintenance spare parts warehouse and inventory, including establishing appropriate inventory levels for critical parts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for equipment failures.
  • Coordinate major repairs, equipment upgrades, and plant shutdown maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Track and report maintenance performance metrics including equipment uptime and maintenance costs.
