OverviewAs a Maintenance Manager, you’ll get to use your knowledge and enhance your skills while working on highly diversified machinery and facilities tasks and projects - including installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of specialized sawmill machinery and facility equipment and systems. This is a great opportunity for growth and advancement, and since it directly involves the production of our plant, this individual will be vital to our success!
What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop the plant maintenance team
- Develop and improve preventative maintenance programs
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of machines and equipment to minimize downtime
- Identify equipment reliability improvements
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Manage machine vendors and spare parts inventory while controlling costs
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting, welding, and fabrication support as needed
- Provide support and training on all OSHA and plant safety processes and lead plant LOTO program
What You'll Need
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems knowledge and skills
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
