Aplin has partnered with a well-established Alberta organization providing health and life-enrichment services within continuing-care environments. They are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and physical plant operations across multiple Calgary locations.

What You'll Be Responsible For- Lead, schedule, coach and support the maintenance team.
- Oversee day-to-day maintenance and physical plant operations across multiple Calgary locations.
- Develop, implement and manage preventative maintenance programs.
- Ensure buildings, equipment and infrastructure are safe, reliable and well maintained.
- Oversee repairs involving mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and general building systems.
- Coordinate and manage external contractors, tradespeople and service providers.
- Ensure emergency, life-safety and building systems are inspected and maintained in accordance with applicable requirements.
- Respond to urgent after-hours maintenance issues and coordinate appropriate resources when required.
- Oversee groundskeeping, landscaping, snow removal and related property services.
- Manage general building repairs, maintenance projects and facility improvements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inventories and documentation.
- Review invoices, purchase orders and other financial documentation.
- Assist with operating and capital budgets.
- Maintain awareness of applicable building codes, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate will be an experienced Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, Facilities Manager, Building Operations Manager, Chief Building Operator or senior tradesperson who has progressed into a leadership role.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management, physical plant operations or a related environment.
- Valid 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate or an equivalent recognized technical qualification that meets the facility's operating requirements.
- Journeyman certification in plumbing, electrical, carpentry or a related trade is an asset.

- Previous experience supervising, coaching and developing maintenance employees.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and locations effectively.
- Experience with budgets, purchasing, invoices and inventory is an asset.
- Ability to respond to occasional after-hours emergencies.

Compensation & Benefits- Base Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per annum, commensurate with experience
