Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Manager will report to the Technical Engineering Manager and will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance department functions to support the manufacturing processes for product functionality as well as cost efficiency. Includes responsibility to supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of personal and outside contractors.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily activities of Maintenance Team; set goals, monitor progress, offer coaching & training, support development, and evaluate performance
  • Manage operating budget for the Maintenance Department, including labor, contractors, machine parts, maintenance supplies, building supplies, energy consumption, and inspection and licensing fees
  • Ensure adequate parts and supplies are maintained, establish thorough supply procurement and inventory control system, and safeguard materials.
  • Ensure all maintenance processes are completely documented, and implement any changes to these processes
  • Ensure continuous production; schedule repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and assist in customer, TS, and safety audits
  • Support and lead Talent Management/Enterprise Strategy objectives for the department
  • Comply with OSHA and all safety practices in repair and installation
  • Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Key contact for after hour and weekend support for equipment and facility issues
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned

  • 2-year Associate Degree in Industrial Mechanic/Mechatronics/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in leadership
  • Minimum of 3- 5 years of work experience in Automation/Robotics
  • Able to function independently, exercising independent judgment and decision making within his/her level of authority
  • Working knowledge with PLC equipment
  • Technical knowledge including electrical, mechanical, industrial maintenance, automation and HVAC
  • Hands on experience with operations and programming, robotics, and vision systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to the quality of work detail
  • Excellent computer competencies, including proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
