  • Organize and direct maintenance team activities
  • Conduct Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
  • Monitor operational and maintenance performance KPIs for continuous improvement initiatives.

Full Job Description
Are you passionate about pioneering change in a constantly evolving environment? At Envalior, we are seeking a talented Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic Maintenance team. We are looking for someone to LEAD the plant maintenance and reliability activities. This includes the implementation of Manufacturing Excellence, Work Processes, "Do Maintenance", "Equipment Reliability", Lean Manufacturing, and Quick Change Over programs.

As a Maintenance Manager at Envalior, you will be in a hands-on position that is actively engaged in daily process and maintenance activities - including resolution of equipment reliability issues. You will promote plant safety initiatives as well as safety in daily operations. You will also be an active member of the Joint Safety Committee. Additionally, you'll embrace a pioneering spirit, exploring new programs and procedures that will contribute to our values and mission.

You will make key contributions to Envalior:
  • Directs Maintenance Engineers in Developing and implementing the appropriate PPM (Preventive/Predictive Maintenance) technology programs and procedures for all critical equipment.
  • Establishes priorities and action plans to improve the productivity and contributions from the Maintenance organization to meet business objectives.
  • Develops and implements best maintenance practices/procedures, new process technologies, and process safety improvements.
  • Organizes and directs (as appropriate) Maintenance Team activities.
  • Facilitates, challenges, and completes RCCA investigations/follow-up.
  • Measures/Monitors (ME/AU) operational/maintenance performance (KPIs) and initiates continuous improvement activities (safety, quality, productivity) as appropriate per the data.
  • Interfaces with a cross functional team consisting of representatives from process engineering, production, and maintenance to identify critical spare parts and manage inventory of the same.
  • Functions in Manufacturing Excellence roles as assigned.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical or Chemical or equivalent experience ( 10-15 years)
  • Working knowledge of engineering plastics compounding operations including processing and control techniques with the ability to apply the same.
  • Working knowledge of relevant manufacturing safety requirements.
  • Working knowledge of statistical techniques and computer systems - including SAP - for the purpose of analysis and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of various preventive/predictive maintenance systems, especially machinery vibration analysis, lubrication systems, and oil analysis.
  • A basic knowledge of the fundamentals of the major engineering disciplines with thorough knowledge in his particular field.
  • Over five (5+) years of process or plant maintenance experience, preferably in the chemical or related industry.
  • Supervisory experience is required
