About the Role:Join a key leadership role where you'll oversee maintenance and engineering operations for a dynamic manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for driving equipment reliability, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and partnering closely with operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-performing plant operations. You'll lead a talented team while influencing long-term asset performance and operational excellence across the site.
Here's a glimpse into your day to day:- Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance and engineering professionals, fostering accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Promote a proactive maintenance culture focused on root cause analysis, problem solving, and long-term reliability improvements.
- Manage preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
- Establish, monitor, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) including OEE, equipment availability, PM compliance, downtime reduction, MTBF, and maintenance backlog.
- Leverage CMMS and maintenance system data to identify trends, optimize asset performance, and support data-driven decision making.
- Partner closely with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, and Operations teams to align maintenance priorities with production goals.
- Lead and support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and plant improvement initiatives from planning through implementation.
- Ensure compliance with site safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain maintenance planning, scheduling, and asset management processes.
- Support reliability-centered maintenance, predictive maintenance technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage departmental budgets, maintenance expenditures, and resource planning.
- Develop succession plans and training programs to strengthen team capabilities and support future growth.
You'll be a perfect fit if you have:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance, engineering, reliability, or asset management experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing maintenance, engineering, or reliability teams.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and improving preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Experience utilizing CMMS platforms and maintenance data to drive performance improvements.
- Strong understanding of maintenance and reliability KPIs, including OEE, PM compliance, equipment availability, MTBF, and downtime reduction.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and build strong partnerships with operations and manufacturing personnel.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience within chemical, petrochemical, specialty chemical, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, or other process manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of reliability engineering principles, root cause analysis methodologies, FMEA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience supporting capital projects and manufacturing optimization efforts.
- Familiarity with SAP PM, Siemens maintenance systems, or other enterprise CMMS platforms.
- Experience leading cultural transformation initiatives that improve reliability, operational performance, and employee engagement.
Compensation and Benefits:- Pay: $130,000-150,000 Annually (depending on experience)
- Eligible for overtime pay
