Maintenance Controller (Acft Maint Control) CMC

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads, plans, organizes and controls the maintenance and repairs and the release of aircraft.

  • Must be able to work rotating shifts and travel for detachments

  • Incumbent shall supervise and coordinate maintenance efforts on assigned shift, to meet the daily flight schedule

  • Serve as subject matter expert to management and special external spokesperson for the organization on matters pertaining to polices, plans and objectives

  • This incumbent must possess a level of experience necessary to inspect all aircraft assigned, certify Aircraft/Engine Logbook entries, and coordinate maintenance control responsibilities

  • Must possess O-level experience as a maintenance control supervisor

  • Candidate must have good communication skills both orally and written

  • Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects

  • Inspect the aircraft to certify that all maintenance performed by the team is correct and complete

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Boeing Victorville, CA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with recent aircraft organizational level maintenance

  • Read, interpret and use manufacturers and aircraft maintenance manuals, service bulletins, blueprints, wiring/schematic diagrams, data tables and other specifications to determine feasibility and method to repair or replace malfunctioning or damaged components

  • Willing to work variable shifts; including days, evenings, nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 787 Experience

  • A&P Certification
