Job DescriptionExperience- 12+ years of overall Mainframe experience with at least 3+ years in Architecture, Technical Leadership, or Solution Design roles.
- Strong experience in Trading, Brokerage, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, or Financial Services domains preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Define end-to-end architecture solutions for Mainframe applications supporting Trading business functions.
- Lead architecture reviews, solution design discussions, and technical decision-making.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, SMEs, Product Owners, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Drive Mainframe modernization, cloud readiness assessments, API enablement, and integration strategies.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
- Participate in estimation, capacity planning, technical risk identification, and mitigation planning.
- Ensure adherence to architectural standards, security controls, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Support production stability, performance optimization, and complex incident resolution.
͏Technical Skills (Mandatory)- Strong expertise in:
- COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS
- Deep understanding of Mainframe application architecture, batch processing, online transaction processing, and data management.
- Strong experience in end-to-end development, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and QA/UAT support
- Expertise in:
- Endevor / ISPW
- File Aid
- SPUFI
- File Manager
- QMF
- Xpeditor
- Abend Aid
- CA-7 Scheduling
- Hands-on experience in application performance tuning and production support.
Mandatory Skills: Mainframe.
Experience: 8-10 Years.
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
