Key Responsibilities:- As a Mainframe Developer, you will be responsible for providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
- You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively.
- You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
- Additionally, you will provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance system functionality and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
- Document findings and solutions to create a knowledge base for future reference.
- Participate in continuous learning and development to stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
This role requires 3-4 days per week onsite in Pennington, NJ or Jersey City, NJ.Role requires contractor time away (CTA), 5 days per quarter, as mandated by the client Basic Qualifications- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Mainframe experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2 and VSAM
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:- Advanced proficiency in Mainframes Modernization on GCP
- Bank experience
- Experience with Restructured Extended Executor (REXX), DB2 SQL, and Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM) is suggested.
