Job description:Ideal candidates will have machine design and project engineering experience, preferably with automation, process equipment, assembly, Fixtures and/or material handling systems.
Responsibilities:- Design and project engineer special machine systems utilizing engineering principles, knowledge, and related mechanical design engineering experience.
- Lead and mentor other Machine Designers and Detailers.
- Conceptualize designs and project engineer to completion.
- Create models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD software.
- Size mechanical equipment such as pumps, gears, bearings, hydraulics, conveyors, and piping.
- Review bid specifications, detailed drawings, technical manuals, and bill of materials.
- Provide production and customer support.
Requirements:- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering preferred, but not required.
- Machine design experience, preferably process equipment, material handling, or automation equipment.
- Solidworks software experience, but Inventor, Creo, ProE, AutoCAD, or any 3D software experience considered.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Technical ability, team-oriented, and attention to detail.
- Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card.
Compensation and Benefits:- $75,000.00 to $130,000.00 /year.
