Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Low Voltage Electrician's for projects located in or around Fairfax, LA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $62/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Electrician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

  • Install electrical raceways, conduit, and cable support systems
  • Pull, route, and secure electrical cable
  • Perform cable terminations
  • Install cable bus systems and busways
  • Install and assemble electrical equipment
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Follow all project safety requirements and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Work efficiently as part of a team to meet project deadlines


Requirements:
  • Current Iowa Journeyman Electrician License required or a qualifying reciprocal Journeyman license (Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas, Wisconsin, or Wyoming)
  • Must have personal electrical hand tools required to perform the job
  • Dependable with reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Previous commercial or industrial electrical construction experience preferred
  • Data center or large-scale commercial project experience is a plus
