Responsibilities: - Processing and accurately dispense prescription orders
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff to optimize medication therapy
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and long-term care pharmacy regulation
- Provides direction and guidance to pharmacy technicians and support staff
- Support quality assurance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications: - Must be licensed and in good standing with the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy
- Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred
- Experience administering immunizations and long-acting injectables
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Support team culture and promote a positive work environment
- Familiarity with LTC regulations and electronic health record systems
- Self-Motivated and able to work autonomously as well as with a team
- Experience in PioneerRx, FrameworkLTC, or a similar systems
