We are seeking a Logistics Specialist (In-Transit Visibility) to support end-to-end tracking and status management of assets moving through logistics and transportation networks. This role is responsible for monitoring shipments in transit, maintaining accurate movement data, resolving exceptions, and providing timely updates to stakeholders. In DoD and government environments, the specialist will support in-transit visibility across the Defense Transportation System (DTS), helping ensure force and sustainment movements remain visible, traceable, and actionable.
Key Responsibilities
• Track the identity, status, and location of cargo, equipment, personnel, or other assets in transit.
• Provide real-time or near-real-time updates to stakeholders on shipment status, delays, and exceptions.
• Review, validate, and manage transportation documentation and movement records.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, delayed updates, missed scans, or interface issues between logistics systems.
• Support deployment, redeployment, sustainment, and other mission-critical transportation activities.
• Use logistics and transportation systems to query, analyze, and report movement data.
• Aggregate and manage visibility data from multiple sources to support decision-making and operational planning.
• Support process improvements that increase accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of in-transit visibility reporting.
• Coordinate with carriers, transportation providers, customers, and internal teams to maintain shipment visibility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business, or a related field
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required
• 4+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, movement control, supply chain operations, or related support functions
• Experience using in-transit visibility systems, Single Mobility System (SMS), Global Aire Transportation Execution System (GATES), Integrated Mission Support for Surface Deployment and Distribution Cargo (ISDDC), Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES)
Preferred:
• Experience supporting military, government, or large-scale commercial logistics operations.
• Experience in multimodal transportation environments, including air, sea, land, or intermodal freight.
• Prior work supporting deployment, redeployment, or contingency operations.
• Experience with dashboarding, business intelligence, or logistics analytics tools.

This compensation range is specific to Hawaii and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,200-$155,400.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
