Overview Prime Response Inc. (PRI) is seeking a
Logistics Project Manager for an upcoming potential requirement at Peterson Space Force Base. This role will oversee comprehensive logistics operations including supply management, transportation coordination, and accountability across multiple classes of supply. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational leadership, compliance oversight, and process improvement experience within a complex, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee daily logisticsoperations in alignment with contract requirements, applicable federalregulations, and customer expectations
- Manage supply chain activitiesincluding inventory control, storage, distribution, and transportationcoordination across multiple supply classes
- Monitor workflows and allocatepersonnel resources to ensure timely, efficient, and mission-alignedexecution of all logistics functions
- Ensure all contractualdeliverables are completed on schedule and meet quality and performancestandards
- Implement and maintain a QualityControl Plan (QCP) to ensure compliance with material management, safety,and security requirements
- Track, analyze, and report keyperformance metrics; identify process gaps and lead continuous improvementinitiatives
- Oversee scheduling, staffing, andworkforce management in accordance with applicable labor agreements andcompany policies
- Manage fleet, equipment, andmaterial handling operations in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and state/localregulations
- Maintain accountability ofgovernment or customer-managed property, ensuring accurate documentationand reporting of all transactions
- Develop and submit regularreports including workload metrics, performance indicators, andoperational highlights
- Ensure proper procedures arefollowed for receiving, storage, handling, and distribution of materialsand supplies
- Evaluate and improve logisticsprocesses to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
- Oversee personnel training andcertification programs to ensure workforce readiness and compliance withrequired standards
- Conduct periodic inspections offacilities, operations, and personnel performance to ensure adherence topolicies and best practices
- Support development andimplementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) andcontingency/emergency response processes
RequirementsRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Logistics,Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (orequivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience inlogistics, supply chain, or operations management
- Demonstrated experience managingmulti-functional logistics or supply operations in a highly regulatedenvironment
- Strong knowledge of inventorymanagement, transportation coordination, and accountability processes
- Experience with performancemetrics, reporting, and process improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with OSHA, DOT, andother applicable safety and regulatory standards
- Proven leadership skills with theability to manage teams and prioritize competing operational demands
- Proficiency with logistics,inventory, or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Preferred Qualifications- Military Experience supportingMilitary logistics operations strongly preferred
- Experience supporting federal orDoD logistics operations
- Project or program managementexperience in a contract environment
- Knowledge of government propertyaccountability systems and reporting requirements
- Experience working in a unionizedworkforce environment
