The Logistics Manager is responsible for leading operations with a strong focus on kitting, shipping, customer delivery performance, operational efficiency, and inventory accuracy. This role drives continuous improvement, oversees daily KPI performance, and develops a high performing team that supports accurate, on time shipments to customers and internal stakeholders.
This leader will partner across Production, Planning, Quality, and Transportation to ensure kits are built correctly, shipped on time, and aligned with customer expectations.

EHS Compliance:
• Ensure all Siemens' safety standards and local regulations are adhered to.
• Promote a safe working environment by conducting regular safety inspections, training, and enforcing safety protocols.
Team Leadership and Development:
• Manage the logistics organization, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement where employees feel valued and motivated to contribute to the team's success.
• Ensure there is clarity regrading roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for all team members, and alignment with overall business goals.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for training and development.
Warehouse Operations Management:
• Oversee all day-to-day Logistics operations in your area, including receiving, put-away, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive operational excellence.
• Ensure the accurate and efficient handling of materials and products, maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
• Regularly review operational procedures to optimize space utilization, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
Internal Logistics and Material Handling:
• Manage the internal flow of materials from your areas of responsibility to various production areas, including raw materials, internal fabrication, and assembly processes.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components, minimizing downtime and production delays.
Transportation and Shipment Coordination:
• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of outgoing shipments, including domestic and international transportation.
• Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of goods.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, including import/export requirements and customs documentation.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field with 7 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment; 5 years in a leadership role.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment; 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with warehouse operations, kitting operations, material handling systems, and transportation logistics.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Experience managing carrier relationships and performance.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or high volume distribution environments.
• Experience leading kitting teams or complex material preparation processes.
• Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
• Project management experience with documented delivery of improvement projects.
• Familiarity with APICS/CPIM/CLTD certifications or methodologies.
• Strong analytical, root cause, and problem solving skills.
• Experience working with Workday, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.

The pay range for this position is $80,212 - $162,4214 annually with a target incentive of 0 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
