Leads PACCAR's Less-than-Truckload ("LTL"), parcel, and air freight transportation strategy across multiple divisions, driving cost optimization, carrier performance, system integration, and operational excellence. Collaborates with internal stakeholders and transportation partners to deliver efficient, compliant, and data-driven freight solutions that support strategic supply chain objectives.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
• Develop and negotiate LTL, Parcel, and Air freight contracts to optimize cost and service performance.
• Lead carrier sourcing, benchmarking, and performance management initiatives across PACCAR locations.
• Administer transportation rates and ensure accurate implementation within Transportation Management System ("TMS") and related systems.
• Oversee freight payment, audit, and invoice discrepancy resolution processes with third-party providers.
• Develop freight analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools to support cost and performance improvements.
• Drive logistics technology enhancements, system integrations, and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal customers, carriers, and vendors to resolve operational issues and ensure compliance.
• Manage transportation and logistics projects, including cross-border initiatives and warehouse transitions.
Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's degree required
• 7+ years of work experience
• Experience with strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and RFP processes.
• Experience analyzing and evaluating freight costs, KPIs, and performance metrics.
Preferred Qualifications• Master's degree preferred
• Professional experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, procurement, or related field is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications; experience with SQL, Tableau, TMS, SAP, freight payment systems, and EDI/API integrations preferred.
• Knowledge of LTL, Parcel, and Air freight operations and carrier management practices desired.

The salary range for this position is $104,000 - $160,000 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit options listed above.
