Full Job Description
DCS has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Manager providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Special Operations Directorate (AFLCMC/HB).

The Air Force Program Executive Office for Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Special Operations (PEO ISR SOF) manages the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of over 200 programs supporting the United States Air Force and allied partners worldwide. This position supports the AWACS (E-3), Wedgetail (E-7), and International Airborne Battle Management Command and Control programs within the AFLCMC/WIW Division. This position supports the E7 Wedgetail Program.

This position is located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

Essential Job Functions:

The selected candidate will provide acquisition logistics and sustainment support throughout the system lifecycle, assisting program leadership in developing and executing logistics strategies that ensure operational readiness, mission effectiveness, and long-term sustainment of critical airborne command and control capabilities.

Identify requirements for funding, manpower, materials, facilities, and services to support program objectives and sustainment requirements.

Collaborate with Product Support Managers, Materiel Leaders, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain comprehensive logistics and sustainment plans.

Develop and execute life cycle logistics strategies supporting product transition to Air Logistics Complex Centers and sustainment organizations.

Identify and mitigate sustainment challenges, including Configuration Data Analysis (CDA) issues impacting program execution.

Coordinate logistics activities across functional teams to ensure program requirements are met on schedule.

Analyze logistics metrics including supply performance, reliability, maintainability, and readiness and provide recommendations to program leadership.

Support acquisition and sustainment planning activities in accordance with DoD 5000 acquisition guidance.

Develop acquisition and logistics documentation supporting all phases of the program lifecycle.

Provide logistics expertise supporting Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), technical specifications, and source selection activities.

Prepare Business Case Analyses (BCAs), Trade Studies, milestone documentation, and acquisition planning products.

Develop and maintain Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs), Product Support documentation, and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) plans.

Support engineering studies, integration efforts, readiness reviews, and production and deployment planning activities.

Contribute to Test and Evaluation (T&E) planning, Integrated Test Team activities, and associated documentation.

Assist in developing Capability-Based Assessments (CBAs), Initial Capability Documents (ICDs), Capability Development Documents (CDDs), and Capability Production Documents (CPDs).

Support requirements traceability and logistics documentation using tools such as DOORS.

Develop logistics concepts, technology assessments, and acquisition support documentation aligned with operational requirements.

Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and provide logistics recommendations to government leadership.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of the customer, U.S. citizenship is required.

Must have an Active Secret Clearance.

Bachelor's degree in a professional discipline from an accredited educational program and 8 years of directly related experience, 3 years of which must be in the DoD.

Experience supporting logistics, sustainment, product support, or lifecycle management activities.

Knowledge of DoD acquisition and sustainment processes.

Strong written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills.

Experience supporting Air Force acquisition organizations.

Experience supporting airborne command and control, ISR, battle management, or mission systems programs.

Experience developing LCSPs, ILSPs, Product Support BCAs, and DMSMS plans.

Experience with requirements management and traceability tools such as DOORS.
