Job Description:

This position reports to the Financial Controller and will have responsibility for overseeing the movement and distribution of materials and finished goods across ITW Food Equipment Group. The candidate will be tasked with planning routes, analyzing budgets, processing shipments, shipping compliance and developing logistics strategies. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills at all levels of the company and customer personnel. They will manage a team of associates focused on all aspects of supply chain logistics management.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee preparations and scheduling of international shipments to achieve on-time shipping performance. Prepare and oversee documentation and freight arrangements for international shipments.
• Manage departmental budgets and logistics spend.
• Identify cost savings opportunities across logistics spend categories.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, processes, and procedures aligned with FEG and Corporate Sourcing objectives.
• Work with freight brokers and forwarders to optimize shipping methods, balancing service, cost, and efficiency.
• Address in-transit damage issues and drive continuous improvement with key stakeholders
• Proactively communicate the potential impact of inflation on North America logistics costs.
• Monitor changes in customs, shipping, tariff, trade, and OSHA regulations, assessing business implications and ensuring compliance.
• Support sustainability and responsible sourcing initiatives as required.
• Lead, coach, develop, and performance-manage team members, ensuring succession planning and cross-functional coverage.
• Foster, communicate, and exemplify the values of ITW; act with integrity and trust, operate with simplicity, treat everyone with respect, take shared risk.
• Manage and oversee the audit and payment of logistics partners, including freight, duty, customs fees, penalties, and detention charges.
• Oversee participation in the U.S. Customs C-TPAT program, including revalidations, annual reviews, and compliance requirements.
• Manage USMCA and other Free Trade Agreement (FTA) qualification, certification, and documentation processes.
• Monitor tariff and trade policy changes, assessing and communicating their impact on business costs, supply chain risk, and sourcing strategies.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with employees, management, suppliers, and logistics partners.
• Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.

Minimum qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree (Supply Chain/Logistics concentration preferred) and 3-5 years Distribution/Shipping and Receiving experience or equivalent combined experience.
• Knowledge/experience with general US Logistics operations.
• Proven capacity in establishing good relationships and contributing to a team environment.
• Possess an entrepreneurial spirit to drive organizational focus on the key initiatives and opportunities.
• Highly collaborative and able to work in a diverse creative team environment.
• Working knowledge of Czar-based domestic LTL rating, and NMFC classification determination, with density-based impacts.

Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge/experience with import traffic, air, ocean, and truck/rail. Focuses include coordination, booking, tracking and payment.
• Knowledge/experience with US Customs compliance activity, including HTS Classification, OGA, ADD/CVD and ISF.

Compensation Information:

The specific hiring rate within the posted pay range will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications.

Range $80,800-$85,000
