Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and monitor all supply and logistics activities for cost-effective merchandise flow.
  • Manage day-to-day supply and logistics activities for efficiency and reliability.
  • Oversee materials planning, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Develop and implement operational schedules and procedures.
  • Allocate resources to achieve targets in transit times, inventory levels, and service standards.
  • Liaise with managers in other business areas to ensure integrated supply activities.
  • Select and manage relationships with suppliers to minimize costs and ensure service satisfaction.
  • Lead and develop staff to ensure effective use of resources and target achievement.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
  • Plan, direct, and monitor all supply and logistics activities to ensure a cost-effective flow of merchandise from suppliers to customers.
  • Manage day-to-day supply and logistics activities to maximize the efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of the organization's supply chain.
  • Activities may include: materials planning and control, procurement, inventory management, storage, warehousing, logistics, transport and distribution.
  • Develop and implement schedules and procedures.
  • Allocate resources to meet targets in areas such as transit and delivery times; inventory levels; purchasing, warehousing, and storage costs; and service standards.
  • Liaise with functional and operational area managers (e.g., in customer service, sales and production planning) to ensure supply activities are integrated with other parts of the business.
  • Select and manage ongoing relationships with major suppliers, vendors, or sub-contractors to minimize costs and ensure satisfactory standards of service.
  • Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop staff to ensure resources are used effectively and work schedules and targets are met.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in Warehouse Operations, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management
  • Familiarity with all Logistics and Distribution requirements, terms, Customs Rules/Regulations, FTZ Rules/Regulation.


Preferred Qualifications
  • People leadership experience with demonstrated ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience in start-up environments or launching new facilities/distribution centers.
  • Background in business analysis and customer engagement, including handling escalations and driving service excellence.
  • Expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS) and familiarity with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP).
  • Knowledge of quality systems and cGMP requirements, with experience managing operations under FDA and third-party audits.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills, with ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and P&L responsibility.
