Summary

You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Weapons Logistics Support Branch of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.

Duties

Help

  • You will function as an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Lead in support of assigned Weapons Systems.
  • You will be responsible for generating various ILS planning documentation, support ILS resourcing tasks, and provide ILS inputs to budgeting processes.
  • You will co-lead the ILS integrated Product Team (IPT), and collaborate with other functional area IPTs in the execution of tasking.
  • You will be required to closely collaborate with external stakeholders in the execution of tasks on a recurring basis.
  • You will use independent judgement to adding work to team members based on their skillset to support program goals.
  • You will analyze various kinds of data for the support of determine support requirement to establish the relationship between the support system and the material system.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Functional Area and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experienced in serving as the central point of contact for planning, managing, and executing Life Cycle Logistics and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities for complex systems, including developing and reviewing comprehensive ILS planning, depot transition, and procurement documentation. This includes analyzing engineering and logistics data to determine support requirements and transition strategies while coordinating with multi-disciplinary stakeholders to manage logistics budgeting, resources, and contractor support.
