The Business Operations team helps guide and articulate technology strategy and research, and is responsible for driving the day-to-day operation of the Product & Technology organization, including: project and portfolio management and tracking; organization-level capital, space, and resource management and allocation; process management; technical incident management; and our administrative and workplace experience support team.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Center (LC) is an integral part of the Technology landscape. Technology and many other departments/teams across the company utilize the Logistics Center and our services daily. The Logistics Analyst II is deeply involved in the processes that maintain the financial, contractual, compliance and asset management requirements defined by Disney policy.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct and coordinate all phases of material logistics including receiving, shipping, material handling, tagging, storage and asset management to ensure timely and accurate handling of the financial assets of the company.
  • Manage and assure material inventories are coordinated throughout Technology, while providing accurate information about the stored financial assets.
  • Perform scanning and auditing of deployed technology assets across the Bristol campus to verify asset location, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure compliance with company asset management policies
  • Prepare commercial invoices for international shipments of company assets in compliance with Disney policy.
  • Responsible for receiving goods, verifying goods and completing goods receipt in SAP, Coupa, Maximo and Service Now.
  • Stage and release client-requested items and complete transactions in SAP, Coupa, Maximo and Service Now.
  • Support Disney Finance team by assisting with financial asset reports and by verifying SAP, Coupa, Maximo and Service Now financial record information.
  • Develop and maintain short term/long term approaches in concert with stakeholders for inventory retention, asset management and equipment disposal that ensure accuracy and transactional integrity.
  • Provide Item Master entries and approvals in Maximo and Coupa.
  • Support clients by identifying damaged items, shortages, and mis-shipments, returning refused products while informing vendors and management of each issue.
  • Create and complete inventory audits, inventory tracking reports and recycling/disposal documentation for stored financial assets.
  • Maintain a casual buyer role in SAP and Coupa.
  • Support the Maximo, Coupa and Service Now integrations through feedback, training and liaising with the application support teams and end users.
  • Utilize specialized packaging equipment to ship high value and sensitive equipment.
  • Take responsibility for resolving problems with the order and delivery process, working closely with others in Technology.
  • Assure that defective equipment and return materials authorizations (RMA) are complete, accurate and appropriately communicated.
  • Responsible for accurate, neat and safe storage of materials, optimizing product and location dimensions to maximize storage capacity.
  • Work with Technology stakeholders and clients to provide product ordering and receipt information.
  • Pick inventory and packages products for loading and shipping.
  • Identify and assist in implementing Logistics Center workflow and process efficiencies.
  • Oversee daily Logistics Center workflow and operational continuity in the absence of management.
  • Manage Logistics Center service contracts, including vendor coordination, renewals and contract compliance.
  • Order and maintain inventory of all Logistics Center operational supplies to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
  • Serve as backup for the Logistics Analyst position during scheduled vacations and other planned absences to maintain operational continuity.
  • Serve as the Maximo Administrator for all Logistics Center functions, including Maximo, Coupa system administration, user support, process improvements and data integrity.
  • Work independently with minimal supervisory review.
  • Oversee the process for expediting receipt of critical orders and monitor material deliveries in accordance with project schedules.
  • Update and maintain Maximo inventory tracking.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
  • Proven knowledge of inventory control and distribution.
  • Working knowledge of asset management and asset lifecycles.
  • Experienced & effective in client and vendor issue resolution.
  • Advanced understanding of shipping & receiving practices.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds.
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced understanding of Maximo, Coupa goods receipt processes.
  • High-level understanding of the Maximo and Service Now software applications.
  • Experienced in electrostatic discharge (ESD) handling of electronic assets.
The base salary for this position in Bristol, CT is $73,100 - $98,000 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
