Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Litigation Attorney, licensed and in good standing with the State of Illinois, to join our team. This role involves reviewing and executing legal documents, conducting legal research, and representing clients in foreclosure, eviction, and bankruptcy matters.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Document Review & Drafting: Review and sign legal documents and pleadings while conducting thorough legal research.
- Courtroom Advocacy: Actively appear in court for foreclosure, eviction, and bankruptcy matters.
- Special Projects: Perform additional legal duties as assigned by firm leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensure: Active Illinois Bar license in good standing.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of commercial litigation and/or creditors' rights experience.
- Courtroom & Motion Practice: Demonstrated experience handling contested hearings, trials, and dispositive motions, with the ability to independently appear and advocate in state court.
- Procedural & Substantive Knowledge: A strong understanding of Illinois civil procedure and evidentiary rules, alongside familiarity with statutes related to foreclosure, loss mitigation, and consumer defenses.
- Case Management & Compliance: Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while consistently meeting strict client, court, and regulatory deadlines for reporting, order submission, and guideline adherence.
- Communication & Judgment: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience advising institutional clients on risk and strategy, and sound professional judgment in fast-paced environments.
