Qualifications

• 3+ years as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
• Knowledgeable in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering frameworks.
• Expertise in Linux fundamentals across multiple distributions and building software from source.
• Proficient in programming/scripting languages, preferably Shell scripting and Python.
• Solid understanding of both on-premises and cloud-native infrastructures.
• Skilled in navigating TCP/IP environments.
• Commitment to a security-first mindset.
• Familiarity with VMware is advantageous.
• Experience with HPC systems like Grid Engine or Slurm is a plus.
• Effective written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Automate, deploy, and maintain infrastructure using Ansible and similar tools.
• Build and support tools and services to ensure infrastructure reliability.
• Implement solutions involving AWS, open source, and custom technologies.
• Design and create CI/CD pipelines for consistent task automation and deployment.
• Write scripts and contribute to shared codebases.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Address compute and storage requirements for High Performance Compute environments in cloud and on-premises settings.
• Engage in planned maintenance and manage incidents during unplanned outages.
