Headway has built the largest network of mental health providers in the country -80K+ licensed therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists. Provider Marketing makes sure they actually use what they signed up for, not just discover it by accident.
As our second Lifecycle Marketing hire on the Provider Experience team, you'll own that system end to end: segmenting providers, building the triggers, and shipping the campaigns in Iterable and Intercom that turn provider behavior into the right message at the right time. You'll define success before you launch, test against it, and use the result to build the next program. Every campaign should make the next one smarter.
Day to day, you will:- Build and shape the lifecycle program - help define how Headway engages active providers across their journey, identifying the moments, behaviors, and opportunities where lifecycle marketing can make the biggest difference.
- Design the provider journey - build programs that move providers from activation through deeper product adoption and long-term engagement, using behavioral signals to deliver the right message at the right moment.
- Build and launch journeys hands-on - own segmentation, trigger logic, sequencing, testing, and deployment across email and in-product channels using Iterable and Intercom.
- Create a continuous test-and-learn engine - develop experiments across audience, message, channel, and timing; define what success looks like upfront; and turn what you learn into programs that get smarter over time.
- Partner across the provider experience - work closely with Product, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Creative to connect lifecycle programs to product priorities and create a consistent provider experience across channels.
- Measure what moves provider behavior - own lifecycle performance and build the measurement approach that connects programs to activation, feature adoption, engagement, and retention. Use those insights to decide where we invest next.
You'd be a great fit if...- You have at least 5+ years working in a marketplace, subscription, or product-led environment - you understand how lifecycle marketing creates value by helping customers get more from the product over time.
- You've built lifecycle programs that changed customer behavior - not just campaign calendars. You can point to journeys you've owned and explain the behavior you were trying to change, what you built, and the business outcome it drove.
- You're equally comfortable building the strategy and building the journey - you can develop a six-month roadmap, then open Iterable or a similar platform and bring the work to life yourself.
- You naturally think in experiments - you form hypotheses, define success before launch, learn from the results, and use those learnings to make the next program better.
- You know how to use behavioral data to create relevance - you've built segmentation and triggered experiences based on what customers actually do, not just who they are.
- You know how to build with Product and Product Marketing - you've worked closely with product teams to identify adoption moments and connect in-product and out-of-product experiences.
