About the Role

The Life Sciences Cloud Architect is a trusted technical and business expert within Kicksaw's Delivery team, reporting to the Delivery Manager. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud solutions for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and healthcare organizations.

You will translate complex business requirements into scalable, compliant, and future-ready solutions that support commercial operations, field engagement, medical affairs, patient services, and stakeholder management. As a strategic advisor, you will guide clients through solution options, architecture decisions, and industry best practices while mentoring consultants and contributing to Kicksaw's Life Sciences practice growth.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Delivery
  • Own the end-to-end solution architecture across Agentforce Life Sciences Cloud implementations, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry requirements.
  • Design scalable Salesforce solutions supporting all aspects of the Commercial, Clinical and Patient Services lifecycle such as HCP engagement, KOL management, account planning, territory management, patient services, and medical affairs workflows.
  • Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications, data models, automation strategies, and integration designs.
  • Present multiple solution approaches, clearly articulating trade-offs, risks, and recommendations.
  • Ensure solutions align with Salesforce best practices, platform scalability, security standards, and regulatory expectations.
  • Provide accurate effort estimates, implementation roadmaps, and technical delivery plans.
  • Create and maintain architecture documentation, solution designs, and transition materials.
  • Lead solution demonstrations and architecture reviews with client stakeholders.
Life Sciences Domain Expertise
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud capabilities and roadmap.
  • Advise clients on industry-specific processes, including all aspects of the Pharma and MedTech business lifecycle.
  • Understand regulatory and compliance considerations relevant to life sciences organizations, including data privacy and governance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce platform capabilities, AI, analytics, and ecosystem products to improve business outcomes.
Discovery, Integration & Technical Leadership
  • Lead discovery workshops to gather business, functional, technical, and compliance requirements.
  • Design integration strategies across CRM, ERP, MDM, marketing, data warehouse, and third-party healthcare systems.
  • Evaluate data migration, master data management, and governance requirements.
  • Identify scalability, adoption, and technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee testing, validation, and UAT activities to ensure successful solution adoption.
Client Engagement & Communication
  • 5+ year experience working in the Salesforce SI consultant industry in a customer delivery capacity.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Facilitate architecture discussions with executives, commercial leaders, IT teams, and Salesforce stakeholders.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively through client meetings, workshops, presentations, and written documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with Delivery Managers, Consultants, and client teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Team Collaboration & Mentorship
  • Contribute to the growth and maturity of Kicksaw's Life Sciences practice.
  • Mentor Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Associate Architects on architecture principles and industry best practices.
  • Share knowledge across delivery pods and support reusable solution development.
  • Contribute to accelerators, implementation methodologies, and vertical-specific playbooks.
  • Experiment with and incorporate AI-driven tools and technologies to improve productivity, quality, and client outcomes.

  • Stay current on Salesforce Agentforce Life Sciences Cloud releases, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

  • Ability to work closely with technical architects and engineering teams to solve complex application design problems.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Salesforce certifications such as:
    • Salesforce Certified Administrator
    • Salesforce Advanced Administrator
    • Agentforce Health and/or Agentforce Life Sciences Consultant
    • Salesforce Platform App Builder
    • Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant
    • Salesforce AI Associate or AI Specialist (preferred)
