Correctional, detention center, forensic, or institutional behavioral health experience is highly preferred. The
Licensed Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral health services while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality clinical care, maintain accurate documentation, comply with state regulations, and support patient rehabilitation and mental wellness.
Key Responsibilities - Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations.
- Perform diagnostic assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual counseling and psychotherapy.
- Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Provide behavioral health consultations.
- Ensure compliance with clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
- Support rehabilitation and behavioral health initiatives.
Required Qualifications - Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current unrestricted California Psychologist License.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical psychology experience.
- Minimum 1 year in a comparable psychologist role.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
